that's a second version of the same scene painted also in acrylic in earlier evening from my dorm room window at the Rhode Island School of Design in Summer, 1990.

This is my folder of a group of cityscapes I have painted from life as well as from drawings or photographs. They are city scenes either in New England or the mid-west(Chicago).

This is an oil painting based on a photograph I took from The Art Institute of Chicago steps(before or after visiting this large and great museum).

It shows a large tree standing between buildings on Michigan Avenue but really to the left of one of the two lion sculptures on either side of the above steps.

This is an acrylic painting of the above title based on a drawing made while sitting on this great museum's steps to the left and further down from where Rocky once stood tall in a memorable, major scene in the movie "Rocky."
