Still Lifes - Glassware and Blueware
For this website page I show my viewing audience two still lifes more unusual that most of mine. They consist of mostly glass or blue objects: bottles, glasses, or cups.

Glass 2013 oil 16 x 20 inches SOLD

Blue 2013 oil 16 x 20 inches $300
For this stil life in which I found three containers colored blue: a bottle, a cup, and a glass jar in the house I grew uo in in Washington, DC. I, undoubtedly was inspired by Picasso's, most moving period of his painting career, in my opinion one of the most moving periods of painting in the history of art, his "Blue Period." With his beautiful blue mood of an art movement, I showed my inspiration especially because his blue period reflects his poverty at the time. My "Blue" still life reflects my sad and anxious time in my life: the year 2013 when I looked a long time until I found an apartment and moved out of my parent's house.
